Please read these Terms of Use carefully. They explain the conditions for using this website and the limits of the information it provides.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Canada Sweet Home website. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Canada Sweet Home is a privately operated immigration consulting business located in Canada (205D - 1803 60 St SE, Calgary, AB T2B 0M5).
Canada Sweet Home is not a Canadian government agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or any other government body. Government application forms and information are available directly from official government websites, and many applications can be submitted without a representative.
Content on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal or immigration advice. Immigration laws, policies, program requirements, fees and processing practices change frequently, and the information on this website may not reflect the most current requirements or apply to your specific situation. You should not act on any information on this website without obtaining advice specific to your circumstances.
Browsing this website, contacting us, submitting an inquiry or booking request, or attending an initial consultation does not by itself create a consultant–client relationship. A professional relationship begins only when you instruct us to act for you and we confirm that instruction in writing, for example by email or in a written service agreement where one is used.
Eligibility for any immigration program is determined solely by the relevant government authorities based on their laws, regulations and policies, and on the information and documents submitted. Any assessment we provide is a professional opinion based on the information available at the time, not a determination of eligibility.
Canada Sweet Home cannot and does not guarantee the approval of any visa, permit, permanent residence, citizenship or other application, nor any specific processing time. All decisions are made by government officials. We do not claim, and cannot obtain, special access to or preferential treatment from any government authority.
Consultation requests submitted through this website are requests only. An appointment is confirmed only when we confirm it with you directly. We may need to suggest an alternative date or time. Consultations are based on the information you provide; incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the guidance given.
Specific consultation fees, format and conditions, where applicable, will be communicated to you before the consultation.
The scope of services, fees, responsibilities and other terms are confirmed with you before any paid work begins. Where you ask for one, we also prepare a written service agreement setting out those terms, consistent with the requirements of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) where they apply. Where no written agreement is used, the engagement and your instructions are confirmed in writing, for example by email.
If a written service agreement is used and there is a conflict between it and these Terms, the service agreement governs the services it covers.
Professional fees, payment schedules, cancellation conditions and refund terms are communicated to you in writing before services begin, and where a written service agreement is used they are set out in that agreement. Government processing fees, biometrics fees and third-party costs (such as translations, medical examinations or language tests) are separate from our professional fees unless expressly stated otherwise.
You are responsible for providing complete, truthful and accurate information and documents, and for promptly informing us of any changes in your circumstances. Providing false or misleading information to immigration authorities may result in refusal, a finding of misrepresentation, and a ban from applying for a period of time. We will not knowingly submit false or misleading information.
The content of this website — including text, graphics, logos, images and layout — is owned by or licensed to Canada Sweet Home and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution or modification requires our prior written permission.
You agree not to use the website to:
The website may link to government and other third-party websites for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices. Always confirm requirements on official government websites.
We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.
Our collection, use and disclosure of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please avoid sending sensitive documents through website forms unless we ask you to.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Canada Sweet Home is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, or from the decisions of any government authority. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or alters obligations under a written service agreement between you and Canada Sweet Home where one is used.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the website is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
